How to sterilize needles?
What is the procedure for sterilizing a needle as best possible?? I’m going to be piercing my nose on my own (please don’t tell me it’s not a good idea, I know it’s not the best I’ve had but I’m doing it anyway), so what is the best type of jewelry to wear, nose screw, stud, or bone and is it better to wear a gold piece or silver? What products should i use to sterilize the needle and should I do the same to jewelry before placing it in? How long does it take to heal fully and how much later can i swim again? How do you clean it step by step? I have a basic knowledge of this already but I would just like to double check with those that have done it before. Oh, and how long do I have to wait before I can change the jewelry? Can you please tell me what you did and what you think is the best way to do it?

the best way is to boil it and then wipe it with alcohol
i think ring or screw is best
do the same to the jewlery
for new piercings you should only use implant grade stainless steel, titanium, niobium, or 18k gold.
it takes 1.5 to 3 months to heal
you shouldn’t swim unless you put a bandage over it

Gathering Professions
I will talk about gathering professions first because most of us want to earn gold quickly and they are suited to this.
Mining
Mining has the potential to create a large amount of income quite quickly. The raw ore that you mine is used by Jewelcrafters to prospect for gems. High end ore can command top prices in the auction house. Smelted bars are used by the Blacksmithing and Engineering profession and can earn quick gold.
Most people know where to find the lower end metals such as copper, tin, and iron so I will not bore you with that. The real money lies in mithril and above.
Mithril/Truesilver
Deposits may be found in Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Azshara, Badlands, Blasted Lands, Burning Steppes, Dustwallow Marsh, Eastern Plaguelands, Felwood, Feralas, Hillsbrad Foothills, Searing Gorge, Silithus, Stonetalon Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale, Swamp of Sorrows, Tanaris, The Hinterlands, Thousand Needles, Western Plaguelands, and Winterspring.
Thorium
Look for nodes in Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Un’Goro Crater, and Winterspring.
Fel Iron

Khorium
This rare metal ore can be found in all Outland zones.
Mining is a profession that can earn a large influx of gold very quickly if you are dedicated to farming it. While not absolutely necessary a flying mount makes the life of the miner much easier.
